Terms of Service

LearnSomethin is a free email service that delivers one short daily article about a topic you didn’t know, generated by a large language model and lightly checked for quality, sent at 9:00 AM Eastern Time each day.

The Service is provided “as is” with no uptime guarantee. We may pause, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time. We try to deliver every day, but mail provider issues, generation failures, or operator absence can cause occasional misses.

You may subscribe with any email address you own or are authorized to use. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the one-click unsubscribe link in any daily email, or by visiting the unsubscribe URL we provide. Unsubscribes take effect immediately.

We may remove your address from the list if it produces hard bounces or spam complaints, or if we determine that an address was subscribed without the mailbox owner’s consent. We may also remove abusive or automated subscribers.

The body of each daily topic published on LearnSomethin is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). You may copy, share, and adapt the content — including for commercial purposes — provided that you give appropriate credit to “LearnSomethin (https://learnsomethin.com)” and indicate if you made changes.

The “LearnSomethin” name, logo, and brand identity are not covered by this license and remain reserved.

You agree to:

• Use only your own email address or an address you are authorized to subscribe
• Not attempt to abuse, automate, scrape, or break the Service or its infrastructure
• Not impersonate another person or entity
• Comply with all laws applicable to you

Topic content is generated by a large language model. Despite automated quality checks, the content may contain factual errors, omissions, or contextual mistakes. We do not warrant the accuracy of any topic. Use the content at your own discretion and verify anything important. If you spot a factual error, please reply to the email and we will look into it.

The Service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearnSomethin is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is free; if you are dissatisfied, your sole remedy is to unsubscribe.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence.

You may terminate at any time by unsubscribing. We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including a violation of these Terms or to comply with law.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.

This clause does not deprive you of any protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live. If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose laws require a different forum or governing law for consumer disputes, those mandatory rules apply.

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in the daily email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LearnSomethin relating to the Service.
